NAME PICKER & GROUP MAKER · A Sandbox Kit · v1.0
====================================================

Thanks for picking this up! Here's how to start in 30 seconds:

  1. Double-click index.html
It opens in your web browser. You don't install anything,
     and it doesn't need internet.

On a Chromebook: drag index.html into "My files" first,
     then double-click it there.

  2. Type a class name, paste your student names (one per line),
and click "Create class." Already have a class list from
Build Your Class or a spreadsheet? Click "Import it" instead.

  3. Bookmark the page so you can open it in one click tomorrow.

WHAT'S IN THIS FOLDER
---------------------
index.html The app. This one file is the whole thing.
Quick-Start.pdf Two-page guide with setup, tips and troubleshooting.
class-list-template.csv A starter spreadsheet (Class, Student)
you can fill in and import.
  START HERE.txt This note.

YOUR DATA, YOUR COMPUTER
------------------------
Everything you enter is saved in your browser on this computer,
and nowhere else. The app includes a browser rule that blocks it
from connecting to the internet, so it can't send data anywhere.
It saves automatically every time you make a change. There's also
a Save button (or press Ctrl+S) if you'd like the peace of mind.

Two habits keep your classes safe:
  * Always open the app from the same file, in the same browser.
  * Export a backup now and then (Backup & settings → Export backup).
Clearing your browser's "cookies and site data" erases your classes.

ONE CLASS LIST, EVERY TOOL
--------------------------
Roster tab → "Export class list" saves a file with just your class
and student names. Every Sandbox tool can import it, and so can the
free Build Your Class tool. Names already there are skipped.
